Madeira Embroidery - Certified Portuguese Traditions - 2011

On March 4th the Joint Exhibition of Certified Portuguese Traditions was inaugurated in Soutelo - Vila Verde - Minho.

This exhibition brings together the three Certifying Entities in the country - the IVBAM (Institute of Wine, Embroidery and Handicrafts), the CRAA (Regional Centre for Handicrafts of Azores) and the Adere-Minho, and the certified handicraft products - Madeira Embroidery, Embroidery, Lace and Weaving of Azores; Lover's Handkerchief from Minho; Pottery and Figurines from Barcelos, Guimarães Embroidery and Embroidery of Viana do Castelo (whose process and certification and is in the initial phase).
