Madeira Embroidery at the Maison et Object fair - September

As part of the Promotion Plan for Madeira Embroidery, the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicraft Institute, P. I. (IVBAM), together with producer/exporter Companies of Madeira Embroidery will have a presence in the Maison et Objet Fair in Paris.

Maison et Objet, more than just a fair, is a centre of attention for professionals from around the world. It is one of the most prestigious fairs in the world where new high-end product offers dedicated to decoration, furniture, design and textiles for the home are concerned; it is mainly aimed at professionals and takes place between September 9th and 13th in the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
 
Design, fashion, objects, textiles, home, art, this exhibition explores every decorative style and its universe, proposing the renewal of ideas and concepts that serve as inspiration to the professionals who attend. Highlighted for excellence, and for setting trends, the Maison et Objet is the perfect place to interact with professionals/buyers from around the globe, revitalizing and attracting new export markets for Madeira Embroidery.
 
The Madeiran representation is coordinated by IVBAM, represented by Dr. Noelia Palma of the Promotion Division with two producers/exporters of Madeira Embroidery present: “Luís de Sousa, Lda.” and  “João Eduardo de Sousa, Lda.”.
 
In an increasingly global and competitive market, the quality and exclusivity of Madeira Embroidery will be a determining factor for the success of this symbolic product of Madeira and for this reason Madeira Embroidery will be placed in the luxury section, where the booth will highlight the elegance and refinement of Madeira Embroidery, in its various forms, whether at the level of children’s clothing, bed clothes, tablecloths, or decorations.
 
The participation in this fair is developed within the Madeira Embroidery and Regional Crafts Promotion Project as part of the INTERVIR + Programme.
